Lizzie
Founder & Chief Coffee Juggler
Running a coffee roastery isn't just Lizzie's business, it's been her life's passion for almost twenty years.
What started in a garage has grown into one of the UK's highest-rated specialty coffee roasteries, built on incredible coffee, meaningful relationships with producers, and a genuine love for the people behind every cup.
Over the years she's travelled the world sourcing exceptional coffees, raised four children, survived countless Christmas rushes, and somehow still finds the energy to dream up the next adventure. Through every challenge, one thing has never changed: putting great coffee and great people first.
Jenni
Customer Happiness
If you've ever contacted Coffee Bean Shop, there's a good chance you've spoken to Jenni.
For well over a decade she's been at the heart of the business helping customers, supporting the team, packing orders, and somehow keeping everyone grounded through the busiest Christmas rushes, coffee disasters, and everything in between.
Customers adore her. The Bean Team adore her. Quite simply, Coffee Bean Shop wouldn't be the same without her.
Nagendra (Naz)
Coffee Roaster
Every busy roastery needs someone who stays calm while everyone else is running around and for us, that's Naz.
Originally from Nepal, he's one of the kindest people you'll ever meet and quietly brilliant at roasting coffee. Even during Christmas madness and Black Friday chaos, he's somehow impossible to fluster.
His passion for Nepalese coffee has become a family mission, helping us discover incredible farms and producers directly from his home country. Outside the roastery you'll usually find him talking football, enjoying a good single malt, or quietly whistling while everyone else panics.
Mishi
Production
Originally from Hungary, Mihi now lives just a stone’s throw from the roastery here in Kent.
As well as being deeply practical and wonderfully calm, Mihi has developed a fantastic understanding of roasting levels, machinery and all things mechanical. He also somehow keeps the roastery roof, chimney and roasting area looking permanently spotless despite the rest of us creating coffee-related chaos around him most days.
Outside the roastery, Mihi is a hugely dedicated father to two beautiful children who are both impeccably behaved and seamlessly bilingual, which frankly feels slightly intimidating to the rest of us who can barely manage English before our second coffee most days!
Harvey
Co-Founder • Express Padel
If you've ever ordered from Coffee Bean Shop, browsed our website, or received one of our slightly over-the-top emails, chances are you've crossed paths with Harvey.
After finishing university in Bath, Harvey joined the family business to help look after everything digital, working across the website, marketing, emails, and helping Coffee Bean Shop continue to grow. In 2025, together with his university friend Alex, he co-founded Express Padel, bringing the same passion for great customer experiences to the court.
Today, one side of the warehouse is filled with green coffee, the other with padel rackets. It's basically caffeine and a little bit of organised chaos under one roof.

CREATIVE & ORGANISATION LEAD
Lottie brings creativity and calm to every corner of the business.
From artwork and packaging design to planning, lists and keeping everything running smoothly, she's the one who keeps the daily chaos beautifully organised.
With a background in art and a love for the little details, Lottie makes sure everything we do not only looks good, but feels right.

Jasper discovered a real passion for artisan coffee roasting after joining the family business.
He's constantly learning, experimenting and refining, with a focus on bringing out the very best in every bean.
Driven by curiosity and quality, Jasper plays a key role in shaping the flavour and future of Coffee Bean Shop.
