I’m quite nostalgic about this one. During a buying trip to Colombia, I visited a number of farms and met some great friends along the way. Whenever I drink Colombian coffee it reminds me of those few days bumping along in an old minibus followed by armed guards – a trip I’ll never forget!
This smooth coffee is rich and truly delicious and one of our top three best sellers alongside the Monsooned Malabar and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.
Colombia has been producing great coffee beans since the early part of the 19th century. During the last century, coffee has become Colombia's main export. The main coffee growing regions in Colombia are: Antioquia, Risaralda, Norte de Santander, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Quindío, Caldas and Bucaramanga (where Coffee Bean Shop Colombian Coffee originates).
One of the most distinctive attributes of a good Colombian coffee bean is it's body. It is rich and delicious, with a pleasant aftertaste that lingers. The flavour of our Bucaramanga arabica coffee is both full and complex, but with good balance.
This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers.
Why Coffee Ben Shop?
All of our single origin coffee beans are freshly roasted by us at our traditional family run coffee roastery in rural Kent. When you order online, you receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket.
