Product Information

We are proud to highlight a truly exceptional coffee grown by a dedicated group of Colombian women producers who have achieved an SCA score of 84+, a fantastic mark and highly prised in the speciality coffee world.

These women are not just excellent farmers, they are changemakers. An incredible 90% of their income is invested back into household goods and education, lifting up their families’ wellbeing, creating brighter futures, and strengthening their communities.

In Colombia’s coffee sector women perform around 75% of fieldwork and 70% of the drying and sorting of harvested cherries, yet often receive little formal recognition.

Despite their huge contribution, only around 20-30% of coffee farms in Colombia are owned by women, and women tend to have less access to land rights, training and decision-making roles.

When women are supported, the impact multiplies: studies show that women-led coffee farms in Colombia often achieve 6-8% higher yields than male-led ones, use more sustainable practices, and generate stronger community returns.

Cup characteristics

Based around the classic caramel and chocolate structure, citrus and red apple notes often appear as the balancing acidity.

Colombia is a country of great diversity, both geographically, culturally, and linguistically – it boasts over 68 ethnic languages as well as Spanish and even English in one of the archipelagos. Its land stretches from the Amazon Rainforest to the highlands of the Andes mountains, and was once the worlds largest producer of washed coffees, from three main geographical areas trisected by the Andes mountain range. This leads to two key harvest times in the country, with fresh coffee available all year. The varietals and farmers will change throughout the year, the work being done by the mills and our QC lab to ensure consistency in the cup.
