 We’re based in Ashford, Kent, but we deliver nationwide, or even globally, if the occasion calls for it.

How fresh are your coffee beans when they are sent to me?

Every bag of coffee we send is roasted specifically for that order. We typically roast, pack, and ship within 24 hours to ensure you receive your beans at the peak of their flavour

Coffee tastes best within weeks of roasting. To ensure this, we roast to order so you always enjoy peak flavour.

What is your coffee roasting style?

Our style is typically a medium roast, designed to highlight the unique origin characteristics and natural sweetness of each bean, rather than overpowering them with a dark, bitter profile. You can see the specifics on each product page for the unique qualities of that variety.

Are your coffee beans 'speciality grade?'

For some of the high-end, luxury coffee beans, such as Hawaiian Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain, we only sell officially certified branded beans from legitimate estates within these regions. For our single origin coffees, we source and roast speciality grade arabica coffee beans. This is a key indicator that the beans we roast are professionally graded and rank among the best in the world for their flavour and lack of defects.

How do you ensure your coffee is sourced ethically?

In most cases, we have been to the farms ourselves. We actively seek out reputable importers who ensure the coffee farmers are paid a fair price for their beans, or work directly with the growers themselves. Secondly, our focus on high-quality, speciality grade coffee goes hand-in-hand with better compensation for farmers, as these premium products command higher prices throughout the supply chain.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes, we have made recent changes to our packaging to ensure it is environmentally friendly. Our current packaging for our 250g and 500g bags is 100% recyclable (rated as LDPE 4). The delivery materials are also fully recyclable.
