Product Information

We’re incredibly proud to introduce a rare and exceptional coffee from Haiti, produced by the APCAB cooperative, a truly special origin that is almost unheard of in the UK. This is a standout Caribbean coffee that reflects both outstanding quality and meaningful impact.

APCAB is made up of 680 dedicated smallholder farmers working at high altitudes of around 1,600 metres above sea level, an environment that allows the coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop deeper, more refined flavours. The result is a cup that is smooth, creamy, and beautifully balanced, with a clean finish that makes it a joy to drink at any time of day.

What makes this coffee even more remarkable is the way it is produced and traded. The cooperative is paid approximately 300% above the Fair Trade minimum, not as a gesture of charity, but because the quality of their coffee truly deserves it. This premium pricing supports sustainable livelihoods, reinvestment in farms, and long-term improvements in coffee production across the region. Caribbean coffees are prized for their elegance and drinkability, and this Haitian lot is no exception. It offers a refined yet comforting profile that will appeal to both curious explorers and seasoned coffee lovers alike. We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome this incredible, unseen-in-the-UK Caribbean coffee into our range and to share the story, craftsmanship, and flavour of Haiti with you.
