As their names suggest, Sumatra Mandheling coffee beans are grown in Indonesian Sumatra, cultivated on Mount Luser where the soil is rich in volcanic ash: an ideal environment for growing coffee.

This unique coffee is sometimes also known as Tim Tim, as it originated from Timor Island. But don't let the name fool you. Sumatra Mandheling is not for the faint of heart! It is definitely one of our strongest single origin coffees.
