Sumatra Mandheling is a very distinguishable coffee and as its name suggests, comes from Sumatra in Indonesia. Cultivated on Mount Luser where the soil is rich in volcanic ash, an ideal environment for growing coffee.
We love roasting this because Sumatran beans have the distinctive blue glassy colour until they're roasted fully, they also have a very distinctive shape, rather a long bean… have a look at the shape before you grind!
Our Sumatra Mandheling Arabica coffee beans are full bodied, deep and rich. This coffee has a complex and condensed flavour, which is admired by enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
This coffee is sometimes known as Tim Tim. One of our strongest single origin coffees.
This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers.
