Our famous first blend was created from my home roastery when I set up the business over 10 years ago. With a scant selection of only five types of beans to choose from, as I could afford no more in the very early stages of the business, I wanted to create a mocha that I would like.
So, I selected the finest Ethiopian beans and blended them with just the right amount of Guatemalan, to create this firm favourite which remains in the selection of coffees today.
This moreish blend can be used in all brewing methods, but my favourite way is as an espresso shot combined with steamed full fat milk to drink as a flat white.
The complex Ethiopian Mocha combines with the floral and rustic notes of a great Guatemalan. The end result is a complex fruity initial flavour, followed by mixed chocolate and earthy body with great 'mouth feel'. The after taste is long and pleasant.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
All of our coffee beans are freshly roasted by us at our traditional family run coffee roastery in rural Kent. You will receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket.
ABOUT BREWING THIS COFFEE
This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers.
